Hi there! I'm Anna, a seventeen year old girl from Baltimore, Maryland.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, an inflammatory bowel disease, in February 2013 and I started this blog as a way to deal with my diagnosis. My hope is to, not only help myself by venting and documenting my new life, but to help others like me deal with this disease as well. 

I’m a bit of an old soul, an awkward one I guess you could say. I am an aspiring writer. I've been working on my style and craft for about six years. It's my passion. I love to create. 

I write, I sketch, I paint, and I read… a lot. Reading has helped me through so many troubles in my life and I cherish and value the written word like nothing else.

My dream is to be a great author one day with books published and packed on a bookstore shelf all lined up waiting to tell the world my stories.

I sketch and paint and goof around photoshop to pass the time. It's kind of therapeutic and whenever I have a bad day or I just want to clear my mind I run to my sketch books.

I'm currently obsessed with period romances and classic novels.
